Island Queen
We're a little bit gushy when it comes to the Island Queen, but why be joyless and reserved when you can let the hours slip by in a cute (yes, we said cute), beautifully decorated, high-ceilinged pub and then wax lyrical about it while a little bit tipsy at your keyboard. We like old Queenie's ability to make you feel you're nowhere near the alcohol-streaming gutters of Upper Street. Like all self-respecting royalty, the Island Queen always has a good spread on and a space to hold a casual soiree upstairs. She's a right looker and we reckon she's a goer on any night of the week.
