Drayton Manor Family Theme Park

Don't be fooled by the lame name, Drayton is catching up with the big boys fast and is currently the fourth most visited theme park in the country. Yes there is a zoo, but there are also rides such as Shockwave – Europe's only stand up rollercoaster –, Apocalypse, a vertical drop ride and Stormforce 10, a wet knuckle rollercoaster. Only 30–40 minutes drive from the city centre.
