Fiddle & Bone (closed)
It's a trombone in case you were wondering. And this is a darned fine pub too –sitting on the canal just two minutes from Broad Street. There's an excellent mix of live performances including blues, classical and swing that reflect the musical interests of the punters. The founders of this establishment were in the string section of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and this background is reflected in the décor – lots of instruments and music posters on the walls – and the older, more beardy customers out for a jolly good knees up.
