Black Horse, The
No longer a Scream pub, and no longer as packed. The Black Horse is still a tidy pub that serves as a quality local for the student population. Two pool tables upstairs, a quid a crack, and a selection of very cheap booze if you have an NUS card – £1.40 Carling –. It's also got a few daft pictures on the walls that are reasonably funny and add to a sense of character and history.
