Café Face
Another good spot for a quick lunch in Selly Oak, again based on the Bristol Road. It's nothing special, but remains an institution in the area –students latch on to these places like lifeboats. There's an average range of sandwiches, baguettes and baked potatoes alongside the biggest latte I've ever tried to drink. Prices match the student clientele and you'd be hard pushed to spend more than a fiver before exploding. Hasn't made too much of an effort on décor with plastic chairs and table cloths, but I guess you get what you pay for.
