Crow's Nest, The
Ahh me hearties, and shiver me very timbers too. One of the smallest pubs in Brum, this pours out more personality than it does Spitfire real ale. Music is controlled by the regulars, tending to flit from The Doors to Goldfrapp and beyond. A well–stocked and wonky bar provides plenty of seasickness, and adds to the considerable charm of this hidden gem in Brum's nightlife. Incidentally, the restaurant above Crow's Nest told us they never want to be written about in any book, but I ain't walking the plank for those bunch of pirates.
