La Tasca

You could walk right by the city centre branch of La Tasca, tucked away as it is just off Broad Street. Which'd be a shame because what you're looking at here is a lively, bustly spot where you and your mates can stuff yourself with tapas and paella whilst knocking back some red wine and pretending you actually managed to save enough for that holiday to Marbella. Tapas start off from about £2 a dish and three or four should see you quite happily stuffed, especially if you accompany them with some tasty sangria.
