Someplace Else (closed)

The best drinking haunt on Broad Street, if only for the crowd that come here. Where else in the country do you find gurning ravers – pre–Bakers –, moshing rockers – pre–XLs – and punters fondling themselves playing pocket snooker in gleeful anticipation – pre–Zig Zag strip club –? All three venues are within 20 yards of this bar, and this is the key meeting place, making it an earthy, no pretensions place welcome to all. Even better in summer when drinking spills out onto the Broad Street strip. And worthy of note are Beaujolais days in November –trust us.
