Waxy O'Connor's

The legendary Waxy O'Connor's arrived in Brum last September, and in true Waxy style it's absolutely massive. It can hold 760 people across nine separate rooms, such as the homely Cottage Bar, the Church Bar with stained glass and a pulpit and the Tree Room, which bizarrely enough has a 250 year old dead beech tree brought all the way over from Ireland inside it. As it's so big you can get away from it all with a newspaper and a pint, or go mental on the dancefloor or watching live music. Alternatively you can enjoy some of the tasty homemade food or shout your mouth off watching the live sport. Already established as one of the most popular venues in town if you've not already, then you should definitely try the Waxy experience.
