Lazeez

Plush Indian food on two floors. This tiny, upmarket chain has a more open and modern feel than most Indian restaurants. Having won several awards for its high quality food, it's perhaps a little churlish to criticise Lazeez for the price of a pint – £2.90 for Cobra – but at least it illustrates this isn't the kind of joint to drop into on the way back from the boozer. Also provides a big screen – showing cricket and the like – and some bloody massive floral displays.
