Old Railway, The

The kind of place itchy was made for. Off the beaten track and striving successfully for originality, The Old Railway has come a very long way since the dark days before the erection of Millennium Point. Totally unpretentious and offering an interesting menu that includes the Elvis–style bread basket –an entire loaf stuffed full with a mix of meat, veg and other goodies. Its most distinctive features though are the live bands that play a broad selection of styles every night from 60s rock 'n' roll to smooth blues and the odd tribute band. We don't want to be too vocal but we really should drum it into you –in a city with bugger all in the way of live music this really hits the right note.
