White Swan, The

Its former name as the 'The Dirty Duck' has now been resigned to the scrapheap, as Toby have taken over and replaced the two–sided sign with a simple White Swan one and cleaned the place through and through. Although that doesn't leave it with half as much character, it's still a very pleasant, slightly off the beaten track, pub. The alcohol is cheap, but the superb carveries on offer here every day of the week are the real draw. Well worth a visit.
