Hockley & The Jewellery Quarter

Hockley's been a hotspot for flogging jewellery since way back in the 1830s and remains popular with those on the look out for some extra-special bling. Masses of workshops cluster together to display their wares, along with the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter and Birmingham Institute of Art and Design's Jewellery School. If you can't be arsed to walk here from town you can catch a train from Birmingham Moor Street (so long as you don't feel stupid being on a train for just six minutes that is - just think of all the carbon emissions you're creating).
