The Square Peg
Stumbling across a Wetherspoons is a godsend when you've been shopping all afternoon and barely have two pennies left to rub together, and the Square Peg's no exception. It's got the longest bar in Birmingham for starters, though unfortunately you're liable to find a few career alcoholics propping it up throughout its ludicrously long opening hours. All depends what you're after though, and it's worth straying from the Bullring side of town if you're desperate for a cheap pint and a cloned plate of food.
