Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre

One of the biggest theatres in Birmingham, and just like someone called Ben Dover (we're not entirely sure who he is, we certainly don't know anything about pornography you see), the Hippodrome knows what to do with its size. Its ultra-modern glass front makes it look more like a cinema complex, but trust us, there's definitely a stage in there (plus two bars and a restaurant). Every season it boasts a huge range of shows, with a big emphasis on dance, ballet and opera. Kiddies and big kids are well catered for too - Scooby Doo and the Pirate Ghosts anyone? You'll be hippo-droning on about it for weeks.
