Cannon Hill Park

The city's best park, with a lake, tropical greenhouses, free tennis courts and obligatory rolling meadows. At 57 acres, there's enough room to do pretty much anything you want. Within reason. There may be children about. Head for the information centre when you arrive for guided walks and a map marking where the latest flashers have been spotted. The Midlands Arts Centre is one of the park's main attractions and a big player on Brum's arts circuit. Whether culture vulture or interested onlooker, you're bound to find some theatre, comedy, film or dance to take your mind off the flashers' bits.
