The Gun Barrels

Walking in to this pub during the day is dangerous. It's so dark inside that you need to stand still for five minutes while your eyes adjust, or risk stacking it down the stairs. Visual impediments aside, the large 'Gunnies', as it is lovingly referred to by its regulars, is one of the most popular student haunts in Birmingham. During the summer months the beer garden's stuffed to the fences and it's a firm favourite all year round.
