Café One

One of Brum's best cafés is hidden away amongst derelict clubs and bars by the Five Ways roundabout. The emphasis on fair and ethical trade could put off the narrow-minded but those of small cranium miss out on original food, good tunes and lovely people. A couple of big square tables fill up the space and make mingling obligatory on their music nights. The buffet lunch provides great value and is more like a home-cooked meal than mass catering.
