The Actress and Bishop

By day the Actress is full of suits on their lunch break, here for the pub grub made more palatable by the promise of a pint of real ale and a pew in the big seating area. By night, and especially come the weekend, local bands and artists take over the upstairs gig room and bring with them a young, or young at heart, indie/rock crowd. All are 'Well into the local scene, man', almost as much as they're well into their lager. Everyone's very friendly, so get in there and throw yourself about a bit.
