Queen of Birmingham's Gay Village for nearly four decades, Nightingales not only delivers all the expected thrills and spills of a good night out in a gay bar, but it hosts live music and performances – The Vengaboys and Jason Donavon to name a few former 'greats' – and owns its very own group of near-naked muscle men in lycra. Holding a multitude of clubbing awards, it's not just the city's camp who enjoy it, but also those further afield.
