The Custard Factory
The former home of Birds Custard (no, we're not kidding), this complex is now the city's central arts and media hub, hosting a plethora of little shops, bars, dance studios, media businesses, cafes and a wicked Sunday flea-market. But the main reason it's so spesh is for its live music. Home to Brum's very own 3-day festival, Supersonic, and a shed load of other gigs – drum 'n' bass legends, Pendulum and Roni Size have graced the stage of Space 2, as have electro-improvisers, The Bays. It's about a 10 minute walk from the beehive Bullring, into wonderful Digbeth: Itchy's favourite area.
