The Loft Lounge
A cosmopolitan, New York-inspired bar and restaurant known for its killer cocktails and hearty menu, providing Brum's gay village with a much needed style injection. Pretence aside, this really is a classy venue with leather sofas, open fires, exposed bricks and plasma TVs. The latter asets make it a popular daytime slob-stop and when night falls it's a good place to warm up before hitting DV8 or Nightingale. However, being seen in Hurst Street's chicest venue comes with a price tag, with most drinks costing a hefty £5 or more.
