San Carlo

Some say you can't go wrong with Italian, but San Carlo is the Dom Perignon of it's culinary class. The staff are sometimes slow, so try not to get too upset if your food arrives cold at the table. You can appease your woes by spotting a celeb. Their website proudly boasts visits from Jerry Springer and Ulrika Johnson (err, to name a few) – let's hope no one starts throwing chairs whilst you're there. One more thing to bear in mind: your stomach might be happy on leaving here, but your wallet most certainly won't be.

Wow, first review on here! Well, just been trailing this website for places I have been and enjoyed. I love Italian food and l suppose like the description of this restaurant, you cant really go wrong with Italian. But this is excellent cuisine, way more than just classic pasta dishes. The fish and seafood menu is extensive to say the least which suits my tastes. Im a big fan of rich seafood like crab and lobster, so Ive regularly plumped for the Salmon in Lobster Sauce! To those who like to splash out, I recommend the Lobster Thermidor. To those with more modest purse strings, definitely try the grilled Sea Bass or the Dover Sole, simple food is always the best.
