Black Country Living Museum

Forget traipsing round in silence staring at old paintings and photographs. Instead, wander round a real-life, working Victorian town. Buy sweets from the old-style sweet shop, purchase some fish and chips and try some real ale, brewed on site. Have a lesson in the school classroom and go down the coal mine. You can even take a trip on a canal narrow boat to the Dudley Canal caverns, or go back to the 20s and play on the fairground. Much better than trying to obey the 'Please Do Not Touch' sign.
