Gatecrasher

Housed in the Bat Cave-esque dance lair that was once The Works, this newest addition to Broad Street's wonky crown was born out of a £3 million refurbishment in September 2008. Coming at you like the bastard child of a drunken night of slidey pump-pump action between the Terminator and Judge Jules, the club has thankfully managed to avoid the pompous air of exclusivity normally reserved for its 'superclub' status by offering something of musical worth for both fey Indie student and cyber-punk mash monster alike. As of yet we've been unable to say for certain just how many rooms the massive underground military-base-like venue has, but rumours of a secret room playing wartime swing classics of the 40's and 50's remain, at present, unfounded.
